Does a Brita or charcoal pitcher remove chromium-6?
Not reliably - standard carbon pitchers generally aren't certified for chromium-6, so don't count on one. On our list, only filters with accredited certification for chromium-6 reduction qualify, and reverse osmosis units dominate. We won't credit a filter for chromium-6 without a verifiable certification on an official database.
Why is chromium-6 a concern in drinking water?
